Century ago father of Khun Cahiyoot came from China to Thailand and open there a restaurant named U-Hong. He had the Secrets of the Ancient Recipes. Those recipes and their secrets were from the village in Loei, Thailand, in the North-Eastern part of Thailand (E-San) next to Mackoong River and Neighboring to the Country of Laos.

The Family of Mrs. Khun Dang & Mr. Khun Chaiyoot came to United States in 1980's and started working with their two sons and one daughter in 1984. The restaurant was located at Melrose Blvd and they were at that location until 1989.

In 1988 family opened their second location in Sherman Way in North Hollywood and stayed there until 1999. Their third location was opened on Topanga Canyon in Chatsworth in 1999 and was sold in 2006.

 

Now Mrs. Khun Dang & Mr. Khun Chaiyoot retired and went back home to grow oranges in the Thailand's farm in Phurue, Loei.

Two family, who still continue traditions of Khung Dang and Khun Chaiuoot are their two sons and their families:

The families are grateful to the Management Team of Mrs Chaluai Phimlek, who is the head Chef since Khun Dang Restaurants started operating in Sherman Way location back in 1988.
